1937 Ford Convertible Hot Rod Roller Project for sale in Alma Lake, Indiana

$15,000

This car is titled as a 1937 Ford Convertible.
1937 Ford -- beautiful Gibbons fiberglass body. The 3" chopped top can be made to remove, but is currently pop riveted on. The body has a steel hood and side panels (also have the trim for them).....the rest is fiberglass.
The Competition Engineering chassis (reinforced X frame) was sent to Gibbons for the mounting of the body. It has a Chevrolet 10 bolt 8" rear end and a Mustang II front end. It has disk brakes in the front & drums in the back (manual brakes & manual steering).....rolls, steers & stops just fine. It has SBC engine mounting plates and Chevrolet transmission cross member mount. It has a chrome tilt steering column with GM wiring and a nice banjo steering wheel; Mustang bucket seats are mounted. The interior needs to be finished with carpet, but already has hard board door panels and trim. The trunk is nicely reinforced and finished......ready for carpet. The steel grille is nice. The dash is nice....will need gauges.
The tires are just rollers....has cool "flipper" hubcaps. The headlights & tail lights are installed.....the car needs to be wired and it needs all glass. The hood, both doors & trunk were hinged at the factory......nicely done. The doors latch, but the hood and trunk do not.
If you have any questions, please email or call: ......DO NOT text.....you will not receive an answer.
THANKS & God bless!
